I am still working with the white pine. It seems as if I have to do some more landscapes, to get it out of my system. We have had some unstable weather this summer and that is, no doubt, where the idea came from. I went to the local air port - where there is less obstruction. The clouds kept changing and I kept photographing them and then some trees as well. This painting is not a reproduction of any one picture. I made some Photoshop cuts and pastes but I still didn't have what my mind wanted so I just used the information I had and made it up. This approach was scarier but, in the end, more rewarding.
