The reasons for this painting get a little political - they start with the idea that in our (human) primative times we revered Nature - giving us our first religon. Then we over thought the idea and over organized it. We now abuse Nature on a regular basis. I think that is too bad and long for those simpler times - in terms of respect for the planet. I still love my TV.
